Selon Deliveroo, travailler serait un jeu : « Ouvrez l’appli et commencez à gagner de l’argent ! »Sous prétexte d’innovation, un nouveau patronat prend tous les avantages et ne se reconnaît aucune obligation. Si, dans le monde 2.0, le droit du travail et la Sécurité sociale n’existent plus, les autres entreprises s’engouffreront dans la brèche. Syndicaliste, Martin Willems a accompagné les premiers coursiers qui ont résisté en Belgique. Son enquête dévoile la réalité quotidienne de ces travailleurs précaires. En niant ses responsabilités de patron, en se dissimulant derrière le Web et ses algorithmes, Deliveroo exploite ses livreurs. Toujours plus mal rémunérés, guère assurés malgré les risques élevés d’accident, empêtrés dans les problèmes fiscaux, ils sont consommés en quelques mois par le bulldozer digital. Partis politiques, syndicats, Union européenne et tribunaux laisseront-ils la régression sociale, sous ses nouveaux habits, détruire le droit du travail ?
